About the Sales Director position

The ambitions are to increase revenue and the bottom line further in a stable growth, where we build on the current strong foundation and an overall worldwide strategy.
We are looking for a country-responsible Sales Director who will be overall responsible with reference to HQ in Germany. You will be part of the management team in Sortimo Denmark, where you work closely with an operational and administratively strong director colleague. You form the management team in Sortimo Denmark, and will be responsible for the continued operation and development of the business in Denmark, including cooperation with the international part of the company.
Your main responsibility will be the daily operation, development and a strong focus on sales within Sortimo’s well-known product range. You get the opportunity to build on a turnover of up to 100 million. DKK Therefore, it is important that you can work effectively with sales strategy, KPI management and action plans. The sale takes place partly through direct sales mainly to large and medium-sized companies, through cooperation with partners and distributors as well as online. You will be responsible for the Danish organization of 25 employees, including management of the 9 sales employees, as well as the rest of the sales network, which you manage and coordinate through overview, good communication and information exchange as well as participation in regional and national fairs.
You enjoy working at both operational and tactical levels. You show the way through your own execution ability, where you create sales results and you can handle the day-to-day operations in collaboration with the administratively and financially strong management colleague. Today you probably sit as a director, sales director, division director or sales manager in a medium-sized or large company. Regardless of your current position and background, you have created strong sales and management results. You probably have a relevant, advanced commercial or marketing economics education as well as experience from and network within the automotive industry. Knowledge of SAP and digital sales tools is a clear advantage. You write and speak Danish and English. Great emphasis is placed on you being the right person and having the necessary experience. As a person, you are commercial and results-oriented.
You execute and follow up with good empathy and overview. You are committed and engaged so employees and your sales people want to create results with you. You have the drive to motivate and inspire a sales organization supported by systematics and structure.
It is the most obvious that you live centrally on Zealand near the Danish head office in Greve, where you want your daily walk. There is also travel activity to be in dialogue and service a number of large customers during visits and at trade fairs, etc.
